Caroline B. Cooney
This author grew up in Old Greenwich, Connectict. An avid reader, she has always been a very busy person. Because of a
wonderful teacher's influence, Cooney decided she would be an author when she was in the sixth grade. She has written over 100
books with two made into televisioon movies. I know you've all read the Janie series--
The Face on the Milk Carton, Whatever
Happened to Janie?, The Voice on the Radio, What Janie Found
.

I couldn't find an "official" website for the author but here's two websites I thought gave the most information:
www.teenreads.com/authors/au-cooney-caroline.asp and en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caroline_Cooney.

David Catrow, Illustrator
Catrow's favorite subject in school was drawing and now he is famous for it! He is a cartoonist and since 1988 he has been
syndicated in more than 900 newspaper. He hasalso illustrated more that 30 children books. Catrow has a special interest in
making understanding the Preamble to the United States Constistion for childrenin a fun way. Using actual words from the
Preamble and the artist's quirky art in
We the Kids: The Preamble to the Constitution of the United States is a success.

Catrow doesn't have an official website and this is the second best I could find

Audrey Couloumbis
Audrey Couloumbis has received a Newbery Honor award in 2000 for her book, Getting Near to Baby, which I have to admit is not
on my favorite book list. Look for her next book,
Love Me Tender, to be published for Spring 2008.
