Sometimes lunch is hard work and you just need a little nap! |
Me? Asleep? Naw, I'm just resting my eyes for a minute! |
Hi, my name is Bruno. What's your name, little guy? |
This is Tipper, my friend for five years now. He's a sweetheart. I call him my Therapy Puppy, because when I don't feel good, Tipper sits with me to keep me company and we take naps together. Now, if I could just train him to get me a Diet Pepsi out of the refrigerator Tipper holds the title of the official Library Dog because he came to My Favorite Children's Room frequently to help out with a project or to just to hang out. He still gets excited when we drive by the Library and we've gone in a few times to say "Hi" to the gang. However, Tipper is not excited to stop by to see Dr Wilford. My poor baby shivers and shakes and does not wag his tail--it finds its way between his legs. I don't why because his visits to the doctor have been pretty much routine--not like Snow's. The fancy bandana Tipper is wearing is what the cowboys and cowgirls earned during a summer reading program. |
This is Snow and, my, does he have attitude! He's been my friend for about three years. He gets in all kinds of trouble like the time he and Dr. Wilford spent a night together at the the doc's clinic! Snow did survive for more crazy episodes like when he found an unlimited supply of chocolate and we had visit the doctor again. Believe me, don't ever give a dog chocolate because you think it's a yummy treat. During his first visit to the Library as a puppy, he wiggled out of my arms, fell to the floor and lost consciousness. Yes, we did run to the doctor's that time, too. Snow thinks he's boss around here and Tipper lets him even though he is the Alpha dog. (I know all about this stuff--I watch the TV show, The Dog Whisperer, and, no, I am not the pack leader.) When I invite my buddies to go for a ride, Snow will tell Tipper he can't go and Tipper gets excited, dances and wags his tail because he loves to go for rides, but he won't move to the car ...so, I have to carry him while Snow leads the way. |
